I was disappointed that the image on this pouch was not very clear. The zipper doesn't work real well, either.

RIP Big Tex, you will be sorely missed!
This big ole cowboy stood watch over the Great State Fair of Texas for many, many years. He spoke with a deep Texas drawl and welcomed all the visitors to the fairgrounds. This icon drew huge crowds and brought a smile to the faces of young and old alike. He was a 52' tall statue, with a mouth that moved and a voice as big as Texas!
During the 2012 fair, he sadly met his demise as he burned to the ground. In September 2013, a new version of this big cowboy will be unveiled. It will certainly be stunning and well loved. But we will remember all the years and the lovely September days when we heard this pardner say "HOWDY FOLKS"! RIP old friend!
Big Tex is a collaborative effort by Charlie & Norma Brock.

Charlie and Norma, this photograph, which is meant to represent a friendly image, nevertheless has a sinister look about him which is emphasized by the emptiness of the background.
