Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
After painting this Colorado mountain scene with Long's Peak as a backdrop, I did a line drawing from the painting. In Photoshop, I then filled in every little bush, rock, and tree with blended colors. The finishing details were hand drawn, scanned into my computer, and overlaid onto the image in colors of my choice....very similar to silkscreen printing without the toxic chemicals!

She began her career as a silkscreen artist. After 25 years of printmaking, Anne now works with watercolor, building successive layers of color to create her vibrant, rich, and detailed paintings. She has lived in Colorado since 1976 and finds inspiration in the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains. Her paintings, like a pictorial journal, have chronicled her journey thus far.
