I like your Havana Cuba Girl art which reminds me of pinup girl artwork from the 1940's-1950's. That's great artwork for the IdaHome magazine cover. I would think that would be a good addition to your print for sale collection. Paul Bennett

Very pleased with the item!!
A rare sight these days, glass insulators glistening in the sun atop utility poles. Glass insulators were first produced in the 1850's for use with telegraph lines. As technology progressed, the insulators were needed for telephone lines, electric power lines, and other applications. In the mid 1960's, as they were replaced with ceramic insulators, folks began collecting these antique glass insulators. Today there are thousands of insulator collectors worldwide.
We discovered these still active insulators on our first trip to Ireland in 2007. Driving through the Connemara, where one seems to slip back in time, we were delighted to see the tops of the poles glistening with these almost forgotten treasures!
Texas Eagle Gallery is owned and operated by Norrna Brock. Though home base is in the piney woods of East Texas, Norma has a deep affection and interest in everything Irish. Norma has a lifetime of creative and crafting experience, including a booth in the historic town of Jefferson, TX, where you can find everything from craft supplies to hand painted furnishings.
