The remote and treeless landscape of the Connemara may seem barren and lonely, but there is a peace and tranquility here that brings a true joy to your heart. It seems that time stands still here in the west of Ireland, and that timelessness leads to inner peace. This is a place where many artists and performers go to write, paint, compose, rest or just recharge their souls.
This image is a collaborative effort by Charlie and Norma Brock, who work together as a team in their arts and crafts shop, Texas Eagle Gallery. They make their in home in Northeast Texas, but love to travel and enjoy the world around them. Charlie is best known for his works in photography. His most loved prints feature Irish themes, from landscapes to portraits, as they obviously reflect his passion for all things Eire. He has photographed many well-known Irish musicians and performers who proudly display his work on their websites and promotions.
